How to Download Instagram Reels to PC in HD
Want to keep a Reel you made, or one you have permission to save? Here is how to download an Instagram Reel to your Windows PC in HD, with its original sound, using VidRivo.
Which link to copy
A Reel link looks like instagram.com/reel/…. In the Instagram app, tap the paper-plane Share icon on the Reel, then Copy link. On the web, copy the address from the URL bar while the Reel is open.
Steps to download an Instagram Reel
- Copy the Reel link. Use Share, then Copy link, or copy the URL from your browser.
- Paste and Analyze. Paste the link into VidRivo and click Analyze.
- Choose a quality. Pick the best quality offered for that Reel, or Audio Only (MP3) if you only want the sound.
- Download. Click Download. The MP4 is saved to your chosen folder.
What cannot be downloaded
- Reels from private accounts.
- Content that needs you to be logged in to view.
- Anything you do not have the right to save. Reels belong to their creators, so get permission before reposting.
